Private staff in Australia is charge on a case by case basis depending on experience and the candidates personal salary expectation, however as a guideline, here is a list of the minimum salary for house hold staff in Australia. 


 All Australian fulltime placements  must include:

  • Minimum salary
  •  Tax obligations
  •  Superannuation and entitlements
  •  2 - 4 weeks paid holiday
  • 5 - 10 sick pay
  • Fuel reimbursement 
  • Supply of uniforms if required to be worn. 
  • Candidates are to be paid directly by the employer.

Domestic Nanny: from: $35/h 

Career Nannies from: $40/h 

International Nanny from $1400 per week

Travel Nanny from $2000 per week with return flights

Maternity Nurses from: $53/h 

Doulas from $85 p/h


HOUSEHOLD STAFF

Maids from $35 p/h 

Housekeeper from: $45/h

House Manager From $53/h 

House manager/Butler from $53/h


PERSONAL STAFF

Ladies Maid from $35 p/h

Personal Chef from $500 a day

Personal Driver from $45 p/h

Personal Security from $95 p/h

Personal Trainers from: $45/h

Personal Assistant from $40/h

Virtual assistant from $25/h

This is just a guide a household professional will have there own rate and know what they are worth. The more experience the more you pay, in Australia professional nannies with 10 years experience are getting $50p/h + super


Overseas a maternity nurse is getting $850 great British pounds per shift, household [professionals work hard to ensure your family and home runs smoothly.
