Placement Packages

Referral Packages

We act purely as a referral agency you employ your nanny directly. Our role is to introduce you to thoroughly vetted candidates and support the matching process.

Referral Packages:

  • Essential  Referral – Candidate trials, Full candidate vetting, and basic guidance.
  • Care Connect – Full candidate vetting, tailored introductions, and interview support.
  • Premium Referral – Bespoke search, premium candidate pool access, and ongoing advisory.

Each package is designed to give families choice and confidence while keeping you as the direct employer.

Placement Package

  • Our placement invoice is a one-time invoice, due once you select and make an offer to your chosen nanny or maternity nurse.
  • The fee is based on the nannies agreed annual salary.
  • Placement invoices are generated on offering a trial to the nanny

How Payment Works
You can choose how to engage your nanny, depending on what works best for your family:

Direct Pay (ABN)

  • You pay the nanny their agreed hourly rate. No additional charges.
  • This nanny is best suited to part-time or casual engagements and is not recommended for full-time hours.

Payroll Service

  • Service covers PAYG tax, superannuation (currently 12%)
  • Families must budget approx. 7–10% on top of the nanny’s gross rate,  admin fees.

Example:

  • Base rate: $40.00/hour
  • Superannuation (12%): $4.80/hour
  • Subtotal: $44.80/hour
  • Payroll service (approx. 10%): $4.48/hour
  • Total family cost: $49.28/hour
  • So at a $40/hour nanny rate, the actual family cost through payroll is about $49–50/hour

This ensures compliance with tax and super requirements and protects both family and nanny.

Employ directly

  • You take on the responsibilities of an employer.
  • Wages: You must pay the nanny their agreed hourly rate.
  • Superannuation: An additional 12% on top of wages is required by law.
  • Tax & PAYG: You are responsible for withholding income tax and reporting through ATO.
  • Insurance: You must arrange Workers Compensation and Public Liability cover.
  • Admin: You’ll need to manage payslips, STP (Single Touch Payroll), and annual reporting.

Example:

  • Nanny’s agreed rate: $40.00/hour
  • Super (12%): $4.80/hour
  • Total family cost (before tax obligations): $44.80/hour
  • Additional costs: Workers Comp premiums and payroll software/service if used.

This ensures full compliance and protects both family and nanny.

Our placement process is simple and transparent. You only pay a one-time placement invoice, based on the nanny’s agreed annual salary, once you decide to move forward and offer a trial. This ensures there are no ongoing agency fees or hidden charges  just a straightforward investment in finding the right nanny for your family. You then choose how you’d like to engage your nanny, either as a direct employee on your payroll or as an independent contractor under their own ABN. This flexibility means you remain in control, with clear options that suit your family’s preferences and circumstances.
