Duties & Expectations

Every day with young children is different, and this family is looking for someone happy to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Helping care for a baby and toddler.
  • Engaging the toddler in creative play, reading and age-appropriate activities.
  • Assisting with feeding and daily routines.
  • Providing an extra pair of hands while the parent cares for either child.
  • Helping with laundry, folding and general household organisation.
  • Preparing simple, nutritious family meals.
  • Keeping children's play areas and living spaces tidy.
  • Assisting with light household tasks to make the family's day run smoothly.

This is not a formal housekeeping position. It is a lovely combination of childcare and practical household support.

The family values someone who can see what needs doing, take initiative and bring a calm, positive presence into their home.

We would love to hear from candidates who are genuinely passionate about supporting young families.

The ideal candidate will have:
