ABOUT THE ROLE

A professional mother working from home in Torrens, ACT is seeking a dedicated Baby Nanny to care for her 9-month-old baby every Thursday. The ideal candidate will be warm, engaging, and confident in supporting infants between 6 to 12 months of age.

Mum will be working from her home office and requires someone who can independently manage the baby’s routine—play, feeding, naps, and age-appropriate stimulation—without needing direction or interrupting her workflow. This is a sole-charge position.

The right nanny will have extensive experience with babies under 1, a calm presence, and a genuine love for supporting infant development in a home setting.



JOB DUTIES

Provide attentive, loving care to babies aged 0–12 months

  • Maintain and follow a consistent feeding, sleeping, and play routine
  • Engage baby in age-appropriate developmental activities (tummy time, reading, music, sensory play)
  • Monitor baby’s cues and respond promptly to hunger, tiredness, or discomfort
  • Prepare bottles and assist with early solids (if applicable)
  • Change nappies regularly and keep changing area clean and stocked
