Position: Experienced Infant Nanny

Children: One baby, approximately 10–12 months

Dates: 1 December 2026 – 8 January 2027

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm

Guaranteed Hours: 50 hours per week

Additional: One prearranged evening of babysitting weekly

Pay: $45–$50 per hour

Duration: Fixed-term holiday appointment

This role is perfect for an experienced infant nanny who enjoys creating stimulating days while maintaining the comfort and security of familiar routines.



YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide attentive, professional sole-charge care for one baby.
• Follow established feeding, sleeping and nap routines.
• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks suitable for the baby's age.
• Plan engaging developmental activities that encourage learning through play.
• Enjoy age-appropriate outings, walks and outdoor activities.
• Safely transport the baby to suitable activities.
• Manage bath time and prepare the baby for bed by 6pm.
• Wash, sterilise and organise bottles and feeding equipment.
• Maintain baby laundry, bedding and nursery organisation.
• Keep play areas clean, comfortable and safe.
• Provide parents with a brief daily update on meals, sleep and activities.
• Assist with one prearranged evening of babysitting each week.
• Complete a handover with the family's regular nanny.

• Extensive professional experience caring for babies aged 10–18 months.
• Confidence providing sole-charge infant care.
• Excellent knowledge of infant feeding, sleep and developmental routines.
• A warm, patient and reassuring personality.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in private households highly regarded.
• Excellent discretion and respect for confidentiality.
• Comfortable signing a confidentiality agreement.
• Current Queensland Blue Card.
• Current infant first aid and CPR qualifications.
• Full driver's licence and confidence driving with a baby.
• Ability to prepare fresh, nutritious infant meals.
• Excellent professional references.
• Availability for the full placement period.
