About the Family
A welcoming family in Fairlight, near Manly, is seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to provide overnight newborn care in the first crucial weeks after birth. The role is focused on supporting mum’s recovery, establishing healthy routines, and ensuring the baby is well cared for during the night.


Duties & Expectations

  • Sole overnight care of the newborn
  • Feeding support (bottle or breast, as guided by parents)
  • Settling, burping, and overnight changing
  • Tracking feeds, sleeps, and settling techniques
  • Light baby-related tasks such as sterilising bottles and preparing feeds
  • Providing guidance to parents on newborn care if requested


Requirements

  • Formal training as a maternity nurse and nursing background or postnatal training
  • 5 years plus Proven experience as a Maternity Nurse or Night Nanny
  • Current WWCC, Police Check, and First Aid (including infant care)
  • Strong references from recent newborn roles
  • Gentle, reassuring approach and respect for family routines
