• Salary: €8000  (paid monthly)

WORKING DAYS: 5 days

WORK HOURS: 10 hours

ABOUT THE ROLE

          We are seeking a dedicated bilingual nanny to join our family and foster a deep cultural immersion for our baby. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate native-level proficiency in Japanese, with conversational English skills, and possess a genuine passion for sharing the richness of Japanese culture, language, and traditions. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing, and educational care to children, ensuring their emotional, physical, and developmental needs are met.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities designed to promote literacy and support key learning milestones.
  
• Facilitate daily routines, including meal preparation, nap times, play activities, and playdates, ensuring a structured and   supportive environment.
  
• Safely transport children to and from school, prioritizing their safety and well-being during travel.
  
• Engage children in creative play, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities to foster their overall development and encourage exploration.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating play environment, diligently fulfilling all nursery duties.
  
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, daily activities, and any pertinent updates to strengthen the home-care partnership.
  
• Collaborate with a fully staffed household team to ensure seamless daily operations and a cohesive care experience.
• Assist in coordinating children’s travel arrangements and accompany them on trips as necessary to ensure their safety     and enjoyment.
  
• Plan, execute, and accompany children on playdates to promote socialization and play skills.

• 5 x contactable references
• Good English communication skills
• 5 plus years formal childcare experience
• Must have Diploma or Degree in childcare
• Working with children check/DBS/police check
• Previous experience caring for infants or young children
• Family is requesting a Japanese nanny who speaks native Japanese who grew up in Japan
