ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary:

We are on the lookout for a family assistant who seamlessly blends organization with a warm, nurturing approach.

As a part of our family, you will have an interest in managing household tasks, coordinating schedules, and providing exceptional childcare support.  You will excel at juggling various responsibilities—from running errands and meal planning and providing childcare. Strong communication skills and an initiative-taking attitude are essential, as you will anticipate the needs of the family, allowing them to focus on what truly matters


Primary Duties:

  1. Cleaning and Tidying:
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuuming carpets and rugs.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
  • Organizing and decluttering spaces.
  1. Laundry:
  • Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linens.
  • Changing bed linens and making beds.
  1. Kitchen Maintenance:
  • Cleaning countertops, sinks, and appliances.
  • Washing dishes or loading/unloading the dishwasher.
  • Managing kitchen waste and recycling.
  1. Bathroom Care:
  • Scrubbing toilets, sinks, and showers or bathtubs.
  • Restocking toiletries and supplies like towels and toilet paper.
  1. Deep Cleaning Tasks:
  • Performing seasonal or deep cleaning tasks, such as washing walls, cleaning carpets, or organizing storage areas.

Shopping and Inventory:

  • Keeping track of cleaning supplies and household items.
  • Shopping for groceries and household necessities as needed.

Assisting with Household Management:

  • Following a schedule for regular cleaning tasks.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the homeowner or property manager.
  • Sometimes assisting with meal preparation or serving.

Childcare 

  • Occasionally assisting with childcare duties, depending on the household's needs.

  • Post-interview, we will review the session; successful candidates may be invited for a second interview (allow 14 days for communication).


Second Interview:

  • Conducted via Zoom with the client and ANA recruiters.
  • Candidates will receive anticipated questions from the client in advance.
  • Professional appearance and a suitable environment are essential for this interview.
  • Feedback will be sought from the client. If the client wishes to proceed, further interviews may be arranged, at their discretion.
  • Following the completion of interviews, offer letters will be issued to successful candidates. Please allow 14 days for this process.
