Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 + Superannuation
Contract Term: 24 Months

Miscellaneous Award 2020 and is subject to the National Employment Standards (NES) under the Fair Work Act.
ABOUT THE ROLE
A professional family in North Caulfield is seeking a highly organised, experienced House Manager to oversee the smooth running of their home. This is a long-term position ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, order, and healthy home routines. While this is primarily a house management role, you will occasionally assist with the children, aged 14, 11, 6, and 19 months, alongside other household staff including a housekeeper and family assistant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily and weekly household operations
- Oversee and coordinate with housekeeper and assistant
- Maintain an organised and tidy home environment
- Wash, dry, iron and fold family laundry including linens
- Prepare nutritious family meals; manage grocery shopping and pantry restocking
- Perform light cleaning tasks and support deep cleans as needed
- Drive children to school or appointments occasionally
- Provide backup care for the 19-month-old child as required
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar household or private family role
- Confident family cook with experience preparing balanced meals
- Experience supporting families with children, including toddlers
Mandatory Checks
- Current Police Check (issued within 6 months)
- Valid Working With Children Check (or International equivalent e.g., DBS)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification (within 2 years)
- Excellent personal presentation and communication skills
- 5 written references with contact emails and phone numbers

This position is covered under the Miscellaneous Award 2020, which includes:
- Overtime rates for hours worked outside of the agreed schedule
- Paid public holidays and leave entitlements under the National Employment Standards (NES)
