ROLE:  Night Nanny

CHILDS AGES: Newborn

START DATE: December 2025

LOCATION: Ryde NSW

SALARY: $40 - $50 + super ( Based on education and experience)

POSITION:  Fulltime/ Contract

ANNUAL LEAVE: Yes

CONTRACT: 6 weeks to 3 months Negotiable

ACCOMODATION: Daily Maternity Nanny

TOTAL HOURS:  40 - 50 hours
WORK DAYS:  Monday to Friday

HOURS: 9 pm - 7 pm

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a new family welcoming our first child and are seeking a reliable and attentive daily night nanny to join our household. As new parents, we’re looking for someone who can help us care for our newborn, assist with light household tasks, and create a nurturing and organized environment for our family.. The ideal candidate will have a caring, attentive nature, strong work ethic, and attention to detail to support us during this exciting new chapter. If you’re experienced with newborn care and enjoy working with a loving family, we’d love to hear from you!.

Key Responsibilities

• Feeding the Baby:  Assisting with or directly feeding the newborn, whether through breastfeeding support, bottle-feeding, or preparing formula.
• Diaper Changes: Changing the baby's diaper promptly to keep the baby comfortable and prevent diaper rash.
• Soothing and Comforting: Helping soothe the baby back to sleep using gentle techniques like rocking, swaddling, or singing.
• Monitoring the Baby's Well-being: Keeping an eye on the baby's health, temperature, and general condition during the night.
• Sleep Support: Creating a calming environment to promote longer, restful sleep for the newborn.
• Record Keeping: Tracking feeding times, diaper changes, sleep patterns, and any other relevant observations for the parents.
• Light Housekeeping: Performing light chores related to the baby's care, such as sterilizing bottles or laundry, if needed.
• Providing Reassurance to Parents: Offering emotional support, updates, and reassurance to new parents during nighttime hours.

APPLICATION REQUIRES

• Previous experience as a night nurse minimum 5 years
• Experience working with Newborns Minimum 5 years
  

Compulsory Requirements

• Police Check with 6 months validity
• Working with Children Check or DBS
• 1st aid and CPR certificate within 2 years
• Top personal grooming and presentation
• 5 x written  references and  email addresses
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken

• Post-interview, we will review the session; successful candidates may be invited for a second interview (allow 14 days for communication).

2.   Client Interview

• Conducted via Zoom with the client and ANA recruiters.
• Candidates will receive anticipated questions from the client in advance.
• Professional appearance and a suitable environment are essential for this interview.
• Feedback will be sought from the client. If the client wishes to proceed, further interviews may be arranged, at their discretion.
• Following the completion of interviews, offer letters will be issued to successful candidate.
• Please allow 14 days for this process.
