ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a busy household where both parents often need to work away at the same time, and we're seeking a reliable proxy parent to assist during these periods. Our two wonderful girls are easy to care for and quite self-sufficient, but they do need a caring adult to be with them at night and help get them to their activities. We are looking for a mature, responsible childcarer who can work flexible hours based on a roster that we will provide 28 days in advance, allowing you to plan ahead. If you're caring, dependable, and enjoy working with children, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties:
- Perform general light cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Organize and maintain household items, ensuring all areas are tidy and clutter-free..
- Prepare simple meals
- Engage with children and get them to and from school
- Supervise other children after school
- Stay overnight while parents are away
- be on call some day to assist parents with work
APPLICATION REQUIRES
- Previous experience as a nanny
- Experience with cooking simple meals
- Have a car and a licence
Compulsory Requirements
- Police Check with 6 months validity
- Working with Children Check or DBS
- 1st aid and CPR certificate within 2 years
- Top personal grooming and presentation
- 5 x written contactable references and email addresses
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken

- Candidates will receive anticipated questions from the client in advance.
- Professional appearance and a suitable environment are essential for this interview.
- Feedback will be sought from the client. If the client wishes to proceed, further interviews may be arranged, at their discretion.
- Following the completion of interviews, offer letters will be issued to successful candidates.
- Please allow 14 days for this process.
