ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a relaxed and busy family of five who love spending time outdoors. Dad works full-time, Mum, works part-time. Our family includes a lively 1-year-old and two school-aged children, aged 5 and 7. We are seeking a caring and friendly nanny to look after our 1-year-old full day on Mondays from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and also to care for our older children when they arrive home around 3:45 pm. The ideal candidate will be someone who is great with children, warm, and attentive, and comfortable with light housework such as folding laundry, cooking simple meals, and tidying the living areas and kitchen. The role involves caring for our children, preparing meals, doing laundry, and maintaining a tidy home environment.  A valid driver’s license and a car are required.  We look forward to welcoming someone who is dependable, friendly, and enthusiastic about helping our family.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Duties:

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Organize and maintain household items, ensuring all areas are tidy and clutter-free.
• Wash, dry, fold  laundry.
• Prepare simple meals
• Engage with 1 year old and have a fun exciting day
• Supervise other children after school

• Previous experience as a nanny
• Experience with cooking simple meals
• Have a car and a licence
  

Compulsory Requirements

• Police Check with 6 months validity
• Working with Children Check or DBS
• 1st aid and CPR certificate within 2 years
• Top personal grooming and presentation
• 5 x written contactable references and  email addresses
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
